Privacy Policy

HelloFriend is a conversational companion. Conversations can be personal. We collect the minimum needed to provide the service, and we do not sell conversation data.

We collect your email, first name, subscription and payment details through Stripe, usage duration, and concise memory summaries of things you voluntarily share. We do not permanently store raw audio unless a future feature requires it and you are clearly informed.

Conversation content is sent to OpenAI so the voice conversation can happen. We do not send conversation content to advertising or analytics systems. Product analytics cover things like visits, button clicks, microphone permission, conversation duration, and subscription events.

Memories are stored so the relationship can continue when you come back. You can view, delete individual memories, clear personal information, or delete your account from your place in HelloFriend.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. HelloFriend is $9.99/month after a first 5-minute free talk. Higher plans are available if you choose them. We never automatically upgrade you.

HelloFriend is not therapy, medical care, or crisis intervention. If you need emergency help, contact local emergency services.
